Wayfinding
Without the direction of signs, we would be lost.
Wayfinding exists because it brings a measure of order to our world, bringing people from where they are, to where they want to go. Signs point the way, they communicate, and they make it safe, telling us when to Stop, Walk, and Yield. Signs say it clearly and logically. Wayfinding systems are a combination architecture, lighting, landscaping, art and signage. These layers in the built environment create cues that communicate with the observer to lead the way in a holistic approach.
